Circles Exhibition

Circles Exhibition

Circles exhibition, Katara, Qatar.

The 'Circles' exhibition 2021 was recently inaugurated by Professor Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), in a celebration of modern and contemporary art in Qatar. This groundbreaking exhibition features a diverse range of artworks by some of Qatar's most talented artists, each showcasing their unique perspectives on heritage, culture, society, and humanity.

As an artist participating in the exhibition, I am excited to have the opportunity to present my work alongside such a talented and diverse group of artists. 'Circles' is a truly special event that highlights the beauty and complexity of contemporary art in Qatar, and it is an honor to be a part of it.

Each participating artist was invited to create three artworks that revolve around a specific idea expressed in circular paintings with a diameter of 50cm. The result is a stunning collection of works that explore the many facets of heritage, culture, and society, each with its unique cross-references and interpretations.

As an artist, I was inspired to create works that reflect my own experiences and perspectives on these topics, and I hope that my pieces will resonate with audiences and spark meaningful conversations about the issues that matter most to our community.

Overall, the 'Circles' exhibition is an important celebration of modern and contemporary art in Qatar, and I am honored to be a part of it. The exhibition is a testament to the power of art to inspire, unite, and transform, and I cannot wait to see how it will continue to shape and elevate the arts community in Qatar and beyond.

Dr. Al Sulaiti said: “The opening of the ‘Circles’ exhibition, which brings together 14 artists, presents rich and distinctive artistic experiences in fine art.
